Pet Vaccination Tracker App for iPhone, iPad and Mac

Pettify keeps a record of every shot your dog or cat has had, flags the ones coming due and reminds you on the day you choose. When a vet, a groomer or a boarding kennel asks about vaccinations, you send them a PDF instead of looking for the paper booklet.

What the vaccination tracker does

  • Pettify app - Pets list where the cat’s FVRCP vaccination is marked overdue

Due and overdue at a glance

The pet list shows the next thing for each pet. A vaccination due within a month appears there, and an overdue one is marked in red.

  • Pettify app - Calendar with the day’s care tasks and their times

Reminders where you plan the day

Set a reminder for the next shot, once or on repeat. It sits in the calendar with the rest of your pet’s care.

  • Pettify app - PDF health report with an attached blood test printed inside

A record you can hand over

Export a PDF report with vaccinations, vet visits and health records. Scans attached to the records are printed inside.

How it works

  1. Add your pet

Enter the breed and birth date. Vaccine names appear in your language, the way national kennel and cat clubs write them.

  2. Copy in the shots

Add each vaccination from the booklet, the certificate or the clinic invoice, with the date it was given. Turn on the next date and Pettify suggests one a year after this shot; change it if your vet set another. Keep a photo or scan of the certificate in a health record.

  3. Get the reminders

Once a shot has a next date, Pettify reminds you 7, 3 and 1 day before it, if notifications are allowed. A shot due within a month also shows up in the pet list, and an overdue one turns red, so a missed date is hard to overlook.

What you get

  • One vaccination history

Every shot sits in your pet’s health section with vet visits and weight and temperature charts. Scroll back to see what was given and when.

  • Reminders on your terms

Pick the day and time of each reminder, and whether it repeats. Vaccinations share the calendar with vet visits, medications, feeding and grooming.

  • Vaccines in the care plan

The care plan built from your pet’s breed and age includes vaccines and parasite prevention. Each task says why it matters and names its source, such as AAHA or WSAVA guidelines.

  • A PDF for the vet or the kennel

Export a report from your pet’s profile with basic details, vaccinations, vet visits and health records. Attached lab results and scans are printed inside. You can also export a single vet visit.

  • The same record for the whole family

Invite family by email or QR code and choose who can edit and who can only view. Anyone you allow to edit can add the new shot right after a vet visit.

  • Cats and dogs alike

Pettify covers 88 dog and 50 cat breed profiles, mixed breeds included, and keeps several pets apart in one list.

What the tracker doesn’t do

Better to know before you download:

  • It doesn’t decide which vaccines your pet needs

Which shots your pet gets, and how often, depends on age, health, lifestyle and local law. Your vet sets that schedule. The care plan follows published guidelines, but it doesn’t replace your vet.

  • It isn’t connected to your vet clinic

Records don’t arrive from the clinic on their own. You add each vaccination yourself, or attach the papers the clinic gives you.

  • The PDF is not an official document

It’s your own summary. It doesn’t replace a rabies certificate or a pet passport signed by your vet, so keep those originals.

  • Apple devices only

Pettify runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 18 or later, on Macs with Apple silicon and macOS 15 or later, and on Apple Vision Pro. There is no Android app and no web version, so family members with Android phones can’t join you.

What it costs

The download is free, the app is not. Pettify runs on a Pettify Premium subscription: $4.99 a month, or $49.99 a year with a 7-day free trial first. There is no free tier. You can cancel anytime in your App Store settings. Prices are for the US App Store and may differ in your country.

Questions about the vaccination tracker

Will Pettify remind me when a booster is due?

Yes. Once a vaccination has a next date, Pettify reminds you 7, 3 and 1 day before it, as long as notifications for Pettify are allowed. The notification has “Mark as Done” and “Snooze for a day” buttons. An overdue vaccination is marked in red in the pet list.

Can I keep vaccinations for more than one pet?

Yes. Each pet has its own record, and the pet list shows the next thing due for each of them. Pets that someone else shares with you sit in their own section.

Can I show the record to a boarding kennel or a new vet?

Yes. Export a PDF report from your pet’s profile and print it or send it. It lists vaccinations, vet visits and health records, with attached scans printed inside. For proof of rabies vaccination, bring the certificate your vet signed.

Does Pettify tell me which vaccines my dog or cat needs?

No. The care plan includes vaccine tasks based on published veterinary guidelines and shows the source of each one, but the schedule for your pet comes from your vet.

Is my pet’s data private?

Records travel over TLS, and sensitive data is encrypted where it is stored. We don’t sell your personal information. You can download your data in a portable format or ask us to delete your account at any time.

Prefer paper?

Print the free vaccination record for dogs and cats. Fill it in on screen or by hand, and keep it with the pet passport.
