- Is Pettify free?
- The download is free, the app is not. Pettify runs on a Pettify Premium subscription: $4.99 a month, or $49.99 a year with a 7-day free trial first. There is no free tier. You can cancel anytime in your App Store settings. Prices are for the US App Store and may differ in your country.
- What is the care plan?
- A set of care tasks built from your pet’s breed, age and lifestyle: feeding, walks, grooming, dental care, vaccines and parasite prevention. It covers 138 breed profiles, 88 dog and 50 cat, including mixed breeds. You change the schedule, choose which tasks get reminders and tick them off as you go.
- Where do the recommendations come from?
- From published veterinary guidelines and breed references: AAHA, AAFP, WSAVA, CAPC, the American Kennel Club, the Royal Kennel Club, VCA Animal Hospitals and Hill’s Pet Nutrition. Each task shows its source in the app. Pettify is not affiliated with these organizations, and the plan does not replace your veterinarian.
- Which devices does it work on?
- iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 18 or later, Mac computers with Apple silicon on macOS 15 or later, and Apple Vision Pro.
- Does the AI replace my vet?
- No. The assistant gives general guidance based on your pet’s breed, age and weight. It doesn’t diagnose or treat. For any medical concern, see a licensed veterinarian.
- Can I take my pet’s records to the vet?
- Yes. Export a PDF report from your pet’s profile: basic details, vaccinations, vet visits, health records, the care plan and recent activity, with attached lab results and scans printed inside. You can also export a single vet visit.
- Can my family use it with me?
- Yes. Invite family by email or QR code and choose who can edit and who can only view. Everyone sees the same diary and care plan, and gets a notification when someone else logs care.
- Which languages does the app support?
- English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Russian and Spanish. Breed names, coat colors and vaccine names appear in your language too, the way national kennel and cat clubs write them.
