Pet Medical Records App for iPhone, iPad and Mac

Pettify keeps your dog’s or cat’s vet visits, vaccinations, weight and temperature in one place, with lab results and scans attached to the records. Before an appointment, you export it all as one PDF report for the vet.

What the health records look like

  • Pettify app - Health record with weight, temperature, a note and two attached PDF documents

    Documents stay with the record

A health record holds weight, temperature, notes and up to 10 scans, photos or PDFs, such as a blood test and a prescription.

  • Pettify app - PDF health report with an attached blood test printed inside

    One PDF for the vet

The report covers vaccinations, vet visits, health records, the care plan and recent activity, and prints the attached documents inside.

  • Pettify app - Pet profile of Max, a Labrador Retriever, with basic information

    The basics, filled in once

Breed, birth date, weight, color and microchip details sit on the profile, and the report includes these basic details.

How it works

  1. Set up the profile

Add your pet’s breed, birth date and weight. Breed names appear in your language, and the care plan is built from breed and age.

  2. Log visits and attach the papers

Add vet visits, vaccinations and health records as they happen; the medicines prescribed at a visit are recorded inside that visit. Scan a lab result with your phone or attach a photo or PDF, up to 10 per record.

  3. Share and export

Invite family so they see the same records and documents. Before a visit, export the PDF report from the profile, or export a single vet visit.

What you get

  • Weight and temperature charts

Each reading goes on a chart, so a slow change in weight is easy to spot between visits.

  • Lab results next to the visit

Blood tests, X-ray reports and prescriptions stay attached to the record they belong to, and your family sees them too.

  • A report the vet can read

The PDF lists basic details, vaccinations, vet visits, health records, the care plan and recent activity. Attached lab results and scans are printed inside, so nothing has to be forwarded separately.

  • Help with the vet’s paperwork

AI can go through a vet document with you when questions come up before you speak to the vet. It gives guidance, not a diagnosis.

  • Your data stays yours

Records travel over TLS, and sensitive data is encrypted where it is stored. We don’t sell your personal information, and your name and email are never sent to the AI provider.

  • Take it with you

Download your data in a portable format whenever you like, or ask us to delete your account.

What the records don’t do

Better to know before you download:

  • They don’t come from your clinic

Pettify isn’t linked to vet clinic systems. You add visits and attach the documents the clinic gives you.

  • No diagnosis

Neither the records nor the AI assistant diagnose or treat. For any medical concern, see a licensed veterinarian.

  • Your copy, not the clinic’s file

The PDF report is your own summary. It doesn’t replace documents your vet signs, such as a rabies certificate or a pet passport.

  • Apple devices only

Pettify runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 18 or later, on Macs with Apple silicon and macOS 15 or later, and on Apple Vision Pro. There is no Android app and no web version.

What it costs

The download is free, the app is not. Pettify runs on a Pettify Premium subscription: $4.99 a month, or $49.99 a year with a 7-day free trial first. There is no free tier. You can cancel anytime in your App Store settings. Prices are for the US App Store and may differ in your country.

Questions about pet medical records

What can I attach to a health record?

A scan made with your phone, a photo or a PDF, up to 10 per record: lab results, prescriptions, discharge notes. Your family sees the attachments too, and the PDF report prints them inside.

What goes into the PDF report for the vet?

Basic details, vaccinations, vet visits, health records, the care plan and recent activity, with attached lab results and scans printed inside. You export it from your pet’s profile, or export a single vet visit instead.

Can my partner see and add records?

Yes. Invite them by email or QR code and choose whether they can edit or only view. Everyone you invite sees the same pet and its records.

Can the AI read my vet’s report?

AI can go through a vet document with you. It gives general guidance only and doesn’t diagnose or treat, so take your questions about the results to your vet.

Can I get my data out if I stop using Pettify?

Yes. Download your data in a portable format, or ask us to delete your account whenever you like.

Prefer paper?

For a paper copy, print the free vaccination record or the medication log and fill it in on screen or by hand.
